Over 50% of Kenyan Doctors, Nurses Skip Duty - Report

A report which was conducted in over 3000 facilities across the country has revealed that doctors and nurses recorded the highest rates of absenteeism at 60.7 % and 49.5% respectively. Clinical officers who were absent from their workstations totaled 49.5%.

Embu Level Five Hospital. Embu is one of the counties with the highest rate of doctor absenteeism.
