Sudan Appoints Top Economist As PM

A former top official of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa has been appointed as prime minister of Sudan's three year-transitional government.

Abdalla Hamdok when he served as deputy executive secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
