Over 30,000 Unqualified Ugandan Teachers Dropped From Payroll

The Ministry of Education and Sports says some of the teachers forged their academic papers and appointment letters. The commissioner for teacher training and education, Jane Egau Okou, has said that unqualified teachers are one of the reasons that the country still has low learning outcomes.
