Court Slams Nigeria's Buhari for Use of Govt Lawyer

While delivering judgment in a suit seeking the disqualification of the President in the 2019 presidential poll over allegations that he lied under oath, the Supreme Court berated President Muhammadu Buhari for engaging a government lawyer in his personal litigation, warning that such actions run contrary to the code of conduct for public officers. The perjury charges against the president were dismissed.
