Zimbabwean Festival Drops Babes Wodumo Over Xenophobic Rant

The South African gqom musician has been removed from the list of performers at the Mapopoma Festival taking place in Victoria Falls in December because of her xenophobic tweets. The organisers of the festival claim that it is not safe for the musician to travel to Zimbabwe after a public outcry over her rants. Babes Wodumo has distanced herself from the posts, alleging that her Twitter account was hacked.
