UN Rewards Malawi for Outstanding Work in NCDs
Minister of Health and Population, Jappie Mhango, has acrredited the award to President Peter Mutharika's administration which he says has provided a conducive environment for the factors to deal with non communicable diseases. The government established an NCDs unit in 2011 with the aim to enhance community mobilization on NCDs and educate patients in health facilities and communities.
