Thousands at Harare Rally to Celebrate MDC's 20th Anniversary

Zimbabwe's opposition Movement for Democratic Change celebrated its 20th anniversary at a rally in Harare. Party leader Nelson Chamisa used the occasion to appeal to the Southern African Development Community to help the country deal with its political and economic crisis. He also said MDC-run local authorities were committed to delivering services to ratepayers but were being held back by central government, amid a storm over the Harare water crisis.
