UN Highlights Milestone of 1,000 Ebola Survivors in DR Congo

According to the UN, the survivals point to a positive response to the outbreak, was made possible by the joint efforts of the DR Congo health officials and its partners. The outbreak began in August 2018 and is the largest and longest running that the country has experienced, with more than 3,000 cases and  2,137 deaths.
