Ugandan Police Confirm LGBTI Arrests

A police statement said that 120 people were arrested on suspicion of using drugs but members of the LGBTI community said authorities disrupted a health meeting. Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango said they received information that the bar where the arrests were made, was used as a massage parlor during the day and for smoking opium and shisha at night.
