Govt Dept Slams 'Fake News' About Sex Education in South Africa

The education department has said that false media reports on the Comprehensive Sexuality Education component of the Life Orientation curriculum have created "unnecessary confusion and anxiety". This comes after parents contacted the education department over a series of images spread on social media that spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga said were not part of the books produced by the department.
