Zimbabwe Police Use Batons to Disperse Opposition Supporters

Zimbabwe police have used batons, tear gas and water cannon to disperse supporters of the main opposition party in Harare. They were due to hear Nelson Chamisa, the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, give the "Hope of the Nation" address. Local publication 263Chat reports that several people were injured while a journalist sustained head injuries.
