Nigeria Challenges UK's Court Asset Seizure Ruling
Nigeria has appealed against a London court ruling which asked that a U.S.$200 million security payment be made into its account within 60 days to prevent a firm from beginning to seize the country's assets worth U.S.$9.6 billion. The firm had sued the Nigerian government for breaching the agreement by failing to provide the gas or install the promised pipelines in Calabar.
