Insecurity Threatens Chance to End DRC Ebola Outbreak - WHO

The United Nations has said that the opportunity to quickly end the Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo could be lost due to violence in the country's east. The affected eastern DRC provinces of Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu, suffer from chronic insecurity, with various militia groups operating in the region.
