Renamo Calls on Nyusi to Quit Over 'Secret Debt' Storm
Jean Boustani, one of eight people who prosecutors say created maritime projects in Mozambique to funnel bribes and kickbacks, has told a U.S. court that that Privinvest paid millions of dollars to finance Frelimo's election campaign in 2014. Now, Renamo has called on President Filipe Nyusi to resign after allegations that he benefited from loans that were acquired when he was defence minister and was preparing to enter the 2014 presidential race.
