Rural People 'Robbed' by South Africa's San Leadership Bill?

With President Cyril Ramaphosa having signed the Traditional and Khoisan Leadership Bill into law, millions of people living in rural areas have been robbed of fundamental rights, writes Daily Maverick's Mark Heywood. The bill faced heavy opposition from organisations ahead of its approval by Ramaphosa, with activists and civil society groups claiming it "poses a serious threat to rural democracy for South Africa's rural citizens"
