EU Ambassador Paesen Ordered to Leave Malawi

The government's order for Sandra Paesen to leave the country follows its complaint to the EU that she had participated in a street protest against the alleged rape of women by the police in capital Lilongwe. Authorities are investigating its police officers after allegations were made that they sexually harassed, raped and tortured women during protests over presidential election results.
