Here's Why Zimbabwe Needs to Embrace Mental Health as a Priority

Zimbabwe is still lagging behind in embracing mental health issues with social stigma and discrimination worsening the problem, Deputy Director for Mental Health Services in the Ministry of Health and Child Care, Chido Rwafa has said, adding that suicide was now the second leading cause of death among 15-29 year olds. Many African countries are struggling with high suicide rates, for which there are no simple explanations. However, one thing evident is a lack of professional help.
