In Zimbabwe, 12% of Children Have Parents in Diaspora - Survey
At least 12.5% of children in Zimbabwe have a parent who has moved to a foreign country, the latest Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency survey has revealed, adding that 23.7% of children were living with neither biological parent while 13% had lost both parents. Although It's hard to pin down the exact number, millions of Zimbabweans have left the country for greener pastures during the past decade of political and economic turmoil.
