Nigerian Activist Omoyele Sowore Finally Released from Prison

Former presidential candidate, activist and journalist Omoyele Sowore has been released on bail by the attorney general, finally recognizing numerous court orders, after the Nigerian government was faced with growing international pressure. Sowore was arrested in August for organising anti-government protests under the slogan #RevolutionNow. He is facing charges of treason, money laundering and insulting the president.
