Diabetes Increases Risk of Eye Diseases - Ophthalmologist
A Nigerian ophthalmologist has identified some of the causes of diabetic eye diseases to include poor blood sugar control, having high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels and smoking. Eye diseases like cataracts, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy can lead to blindness.
