South Africa's Motsepe Apologises for Africa Loves Trump Remark

When mining mogul Patrice Motsepe said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Africa loves U.S. President Donald Trump, he sparked widespread controversy. He has now apologised, saying that he does not have the right to speak on behalf of anybody except himself. The African Rainbow Minerals CEO had said: "... And all we wanted to say is that Africa loves America, Africa loves you. It's very, very important. We want America to do well, we want you to do well. The success of America is the success of the rest of the world."
