Political Will Required to Combat Leading Killer Diseases - #NCDs
Non-communicable diseases claim the most lives worldwide, and the impact across Africa is growing, as cancer, heart problems and diabetes spread. Experts attending the International Conference on Harm Reduction in Non-Communicable Diseases Paris agreed on the urgency of promoting the lifestyle changes which many argue are the most effective way to minimize the health burdens of many chronic diseases. Appropriate diet and prevention of NCDs are closely related.
