Rights Group Calls for War Crimes Probe Against Nigeria's Army
Amnesty International has called for an investigation into the alleged burning of villages by the Nigerian army in Borno, one of the worst-hit states by the insurgency in the North-East. The rights group said its report is based on interviews with villagers in Borno State and satellite data analysis of the incidents.
