Uganda's Bobi Wine Asks Election Body For Help With Police

Uganda's Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, has petitioned the country's electoral commission to intervene so he can resume public meetings for his 2021 presidential bid, saying police have become a stumbling block. On Monday, police fired bullets and teargas to disperse Kyagulanyi supporters in Kampala - and the MP accused police of running over and killing one of his supporters.
