Dangote Begins Pre-Testing of U.S.$2 Billion Fertilizer Plant

The plant, owned by Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote, is projected to be one of the largest in the fertilizer industry. The project, which aims to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs in construction and related fields, will provide a major boost to the agricultural sector by significantly reducing the importation of fertilizer in Nigeria.
