Nigeria's Sanusi Removed as Emir of Kano

Emir of Kano Muhammadu Lamido Sanusi has been dethroned over alleged disrespect to the office of the governor and other government agencies. The state government took the decision to remove the traditional ruler over claims of consistently refusing to abide by instructions given to him.
