Kenyans Still Ponder the Meaning of Kenyatta-Odinga Handshake

In June, President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga are expected to announce the way forward, despite the divisions in their respective parties following the handshake between the two leaders. Before the political pact, Kenya went through one of the fiercest elections in history on August 8, 2017. Odinga's coalition, the National Super Alliance, successfully contested the outcome, which led to President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory being declared null and void by the Supreme Court and which later saw a rerun which he won.
