46% of Botswana’s Deaths a Result of Non-Communicable Diseases

Evidence has shown that there is a pattern of rising obesity levels, particularly among women and children, which could be a result of nutrition transition, according to Minister of Health and Wellness, Lemogang Kwape. He has pleaded with the Batswana people to do both lifestyle and diet audits to reduce the non-communicable disease mortality rate.
