Zimbabwe Court Dethrones Nelson Chamisa as Opposition Leader

The Supreme Court has ruled that Nelson Chamisa is not the legitimate leader of the opposition MDC. The judgment settles a drawn-out leadership wrangle between Chamisa and Thokozani Khupe. Following founding MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai's death in 2018, Chamisa was declared acting president of the party, creating a fierce dispute with Khupe.
