As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increases, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigerian private sector have come together to form the Nigerian Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19. The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), the continent's leading infrastructure solutions provider, announces its commitment to provide over N500 million to the coalition's efforts, which will be aimed at building critical temporary medical facilities and procuring medical equipment and supplies for professional treatment and care for people infected by the virus. One such medical facility is the brand new 100-bed isolation and medical centre built and operated by GTBank and the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), which was handed over to the Lagos State Government on March 28th 2020 to #COVID19 cases in the state. AFC Commits Over N500 Million to the Central Bank of Nigeria Private Sector Coalition Against Covid-19.
