U.S. Regrets Civilian Deaths in Somali Airstrike

In a rare acknowledgement of civilian casualties from the U.S. Africa Command's military operations in Somlia, the AFRICOM commander, U.S. General Stephen Townsend said in a report that "regrettably two civilians were killed and three others injured in a February 2019 airstrike. We are deeply sorry this occurred".
