Two Months In, Africa Works to Contain COVID-19
As of 2 May 2020, the 53 nations who are members of the African Union had recorded 40 thousand cases of Covid-19, according to the Africa CDC. There were 1689 deaths reported, and more than 13,000 recoveries. n the two months since the first confirmed case of the disease on the continent, with over 1,500 lives lost.
