Bobi Wine to Be Disciplined Over Calling COVID Cash a Bribe

Ugandan MP Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine has been reported to the Parliamentary Rules Committee for reportedly bringing parliament into disrepute. The decision comes after Speaker Rebecca Kadaga referred the matter following a statement by Bunyole West MP James Waluswaka demanding an explanation from Kyagulanyi, on why he called the money given to each MP a bribe. MPs in Uganda have been offered nearly U.S.$5000 to assist them during the coronavirus pandemic.
