Jobs for Pals, Relatives in Nigeria's High Courts?

Some Nigerian lawyers belonging to the Open Bar Initiative have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to reject 33 candidates recommended to him by the National Judicial Council for appointment as High Court judges of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. They said that 17 of the nominees were "unqualified" but made the shortlist because of their "connections" or "family affiliations" with top judicial officials.
