COVID-19 Puts Strain on South African Legal System

Multiple police stations around the country have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This comes as the Department of Correctional Services prepares to release nearly 19 000 prisoners from 240 centres across the country in a bid to contain the spread of the disease.
