Hymn Sheet Differs for Nigeria Govt, States, Police Amid COVID-19

If Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari allows governors to make decisions on COVID-19 for their states, "the country would be finished" Professor Innocent Ujah, the president of the Nigeria Medical Association has said, while praising Lagos State and a few others for their COVID-19 efforts.

A lack of cohesion between the states and national government has become evident, particularly with lockdown regulations, curfews and the regulations around worship. Meanwhile interstate travel bans are reportedly being bypassed by those travellers paying bribes to police officers.
