President Rebuts Critics During Annual Address

"This is the defining hour for this generation," President Hage Geingob said in the first State-of-the-Nation speech of his second term in office. He defended the record to date and outlined his goals, including his focus on eradicating pvoerty. The speech was interrupted when opposition members protested the government's record on fighting corruption.
