Buhari, Governors Accused of Losing Control of Nigeria's North

The Northern Elders Forum has accused President Muhammadu Buhari and the northern governors of losing control of the northern region after increasing attacks over the past few weeks on villages and towns, allegedly by militant groups Boko Haram and its splinter group ISWAP. Dozens of citizens have lost their lives and property. A more recent attack has been in Borno State's Foduma Kolomaiya village, while a Boko Haram attack on a UN hub saw 20 soldiers and 40 civilians killed.
