President Takes Service Chiefs to Task for Nigeria's Insecurity

President Muhammadu Buhari's warning to service chiefs that he would no longer condone the deteriorating security situation in the country, follows calls from various sectors including the National Assembly, that the chiefs be relieved of their positions to allow fresh hands to tackle the degenerating security situation. Beside attacks by Boko Haram and its splinter group ISWAP, banditry and kidnapping has been on the increase.
