Eight South Sudan States Get New Governors

After a long deadlock and conflict, South Sudan's President Salva Kiir has appointed governors for eight states. He gave no reason why he did not appoint governors for the state of Jonglei and Upper Nile, two states in the middle of a dispute between the opposition and Kiir's government.
