Will Gambia's Transitional Justice Process Survive?
Abubakarr Tambadou, Gambia's Minister of Justice who has been a driving force behind the transitional justice process, has resigned to join a United Nations international tribunal. Some already worry that his departure may weaken institutions like the Truth Commission.
