Selection of Woman Vice Presidential Candidate a First for Ghana
Former leader John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, has said that his selection of Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as vice presidential candidate "recognises the towering role woman have played over the ages to achieve the progress we have made".
