Gas Contract a Scam That Can't Stand - Nigeria Govt

The Nigerian government is fighting a court ruling in the UK, affirming the ruling of a London arbitration tribunal which in January 2017 awarded U.S.$6.6 billion judgement debt against the government over the alleged breach of a gas supply and processing agreement it allegedly signed with UK firm, Process and Industrial Development Ltd (P&ID). The government is calling the contract a scam. The firm never began its work in Nigeria.
