Mali War Crime Accused Refuses to Enter Plea in the Hague

The International Criminal Court has opened the case against Al Hassan Ag Abdoul-Aziz for alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the occupation of Timbuktu. He has however refused to answer the 13 charges against him, choosing not to enter a plea, but acknowledging that he understood the charges.
