Mozambique Gas Investors Choose Appeasement in Face of Insurgency

The number of attacks in Cabo Delgado is on the rise and among the latest victims were eight employees of a local gas contractor. Despite this, multinational corporations are pouring billions into gas projects. However, with casualties running into thousands, the efficiency of regional institutions in conflict resolution and the influence of these multinational corporations in such crises is under the spotlight.
