'Cautious Optimism' Over South African Covid-19 Infection Rate

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has expressed 'cautious optimism' about an apparent downward trend in the country's Covid-19 infection rate. This comes as the National Treasury instructed all government departments to halt the emergency procurement of personal protective equipment following allegations of profiteering among officials.
