Manufacturers Entangled in Tender Wars as Kenya Battles Covid-19

As the country gears towards utilising locally manufactured personal protective equipments over imported ones, Kenyans have been warned to be on the lookout for defective and substandard products as some unscrupulous manufacturers are taking advantage of the high demand to sell substandard masks. All this happens as the burden of coronavirus continues to weigh heavily on Kenya, with reports indicating that the country is nearing 700 new infections every 24 hours.
