How the Media Reports On Rape in Nigeria - Analysis

The Conversation's Oludayo Tade has examined the coverage of rape incidents in the country. Two national newspapers, Punch and The Sun which reported on over 331 rape cases, were analysed. It was found that perpetrators were mainly people that the rape survivors knew - fathers, neighbours, clergymen and relatives - with very few being total strangers.
