Humber College, a member of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and a global leader in polytechnic education, has been selected to lead one of the critical components - Recognition of Prior Learning - within the Mastercard Foundation's Young Africa Works program in the Kenya-Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative. Humber College will provide learners with formal credit for their experience and knowledge obtained outside of an academic setting. Acquiring formal credit will result in increased recruitment, retention, and transition of young people to work opportunities. Read more.
