African Development Bank Completes Two-Day Annual Meeting Online
The 55th Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank and the 46th meetings of the Board of Governors of the African Development Fund (ADF) showcased COVID-19 pandemic and the African Development Bank's efforts to cushion member countries against its impacts. On Day 2, incumbent President Akinwumi Adesina won election for a second, five-year term.
Closing of the AfDB 2020 Annual Meetings : The election of the president was the centerpiece of the two-day meetings, held virtually for the first time in the Bank’s history amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
